Photographed with John and Amy is Collette Graham. Collette, along with her husband Chuck, are long time Billerica residents, but that's not all! They are a family that truly celebrates Christmas in all its glory. The Lowell Sun once described their home as "the most christmassy house in Billerica". Their home has decorations covering every square inch.

Included in their extensive decor collection are two sleighs, of which both have made an appearance in recent Billerica Christmas Parades. This year, members of the LaFauci Family, The Dearth Family, and the Burns Family worked together to move this very heavy, yet sturdy, sleigh from the Graham's front yard to the Santa trailer and back.

Upon returning the sleigh this year, we were met with a very lovely show of gratitude from Collette for including a piece of the Graham Family Christmas history in the parade. Hugs, a few tears, and a lot of smiles followed, as we learned more about the 40-years that Collette and Chuck spent as Billerica's Mr. and Mrs. Clause.

We left the Graham home with our hearts full, our Christmas Parade goal met, and a promise to include the sleigh every year from Mr. And Mrs. Claus's home.

Thank you Collette for reminding us how precious our time here is and that the magic of this time of year is very real and often needed. As Dan Burns said, this parade can help in a small way to carry on the christmas legacy that Chuck and Collette began so many years ago.
